WHY IS THE FUN UKULELE PROGRAM RIGHT FOR YOU?

12 song videos

Got a class set of ukuleles but don't know how to teach the ukulele?.  After 15 years of teaching ukuleles, I have decided to share my knowledge and help you have fun while every student in your class learns to play 3 chord ukulele songs with success.

This program includes 21 videos, 5-10 minutes long, complete with a bouncing ball to keep the kids on track and each song recorded at 3 different tempos.  Each lesson builds on the skills taught in the previous lesson.  These videos teach you and your students proper finger positions, how to read a fret board, how to read with the FUN Music system and eventually how to read traditional music.  The unit finishes off with a fun playalong playdate with a primary grade.

WE'LL TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY AND TEACH THE UKULELE
You don't need to know how to play the ukulele to teach it if you use the FUN Ukulele for Beginners program.  Each video has detailed instructions on the steps needed to master your first three chords on the ukulele.

IT’S LIKE HAVING AN  EXTRA TEACHER IN YOUR CLASSROOM
While the FUN videos teach your students the lessons, you are free to walk around the room and give 1:1 assistance to students who need help.  Or, your students can work through the program on their own and work at their own pace.

THE PROGRAM IS GREAT FOR LOW READERS.
For most students, it is very difficult to read lyrics and process which chord they are supposed to make at the same time.  To help alleviate that problem, the FUN Ukulele for Beginners program uses songs the students are sure to know and graphics to help remind the students of the lyrics.

COLORED STICKERS MAKE LEARNING FAST
One of the greatest challenges in teaching students an instrument is making them believe they can do it.  By placing coloured stickers on the ukuleles, students instantly know where to put their fingers and feel great about themselves. By the end of the unit, they will no longer need stickers and will quickly learn fingerings for new chords.

EASY TO READ MUSIC MEANS EARLY SUCCESS
Music is written in evenly spaced bars, with colored chord markers allowing students to predict how many strums are needed for each bar.  Evenly spaced music with coloured chords help students see patterns in music and encourages them analyze songs before playing.

KIDS PLAY ALONG AT THIER OWN SPEED
Each song is played at three different tempos allowing students to progress at their own speed. For many beginners, it is too great a challenge to sing and play the chords, so each song plays the melody along with a fun accompaniment.  As students improve on changing chords, they can challenge themselves to play the song at a faster tempo.

BOUNCING BALLS AND FUN MUSIC KEEP KIDS ON TRACK
We all know how kids like to speed up when playing songs. The bouncing ball keeps kids on track.  If they get lost, it is easy to find their place in the music and join back in.
